Niton FC celebrate cup win and homecoming

Niton FC

Niton FC marked their return to their Niton Springhead home ground with a successful season for the reserves, who finished third and lifted the Junior B Cup for the first time in the club’s history. They had previously won the Junior A Cup in 2001 and the Challenge Cup in 2014. The first team had a more modest season, but were recognised with the Fair Play Award.

At the club’s presentation evening, the first team awards went to Daniel Keefe (Players’ Player), Jordan Fowkes and Brandon Thomas (joint Managers’ Player), Cruz Wragg (Young Player and Top Goal-scorer), Justin Curling (Clubman), and Keiran Ross (Most Improved).

For the reserves, Adam Reuben won Players’ Player, Tony Potts and Oliver Mcloughlin shared Managers’ Player, Ryan McDowall was named Young Player, Josh Morris took Most Improved, James Evans received the Bulldog Award, and Tony Potts finished as Top Goal-scorer.
