A reinvigorated Cowes Business Association teamed up with Linked-In Local to create a memorable night of networking, hosted by the Sir Max Aitken Museum.
Over 100 business people from the Island, Portsmouth, Southampton and London descended on the Museum for a fabulous bit of informal networking. Northwood House offered free parking for early arrivals.
In naval tradition, guests were welcomed with a tot of Isle of Wight Distillery’s HMS Victory Navy Strength Rum which was followed by superb wine from Wine Therapy and amazing food from French Franks and Rosalies of Cowes.
Following an introduction from Linked-In Local IOW curator Chris Court there was a short talk from Cowes Business Association chair Jeremy Pocock about their mission to support, encourage & promote their members.
Cowes Mayor Lora Peacey-Wilcox also shared her vision for Cowes which included a plan to make the high street an all weather venue.
