Logan is off to London!

An Isle of Wight grandmother has raised over £1,000 in just a few days to help her 11-year-old grandson, Logan Frankum, travel to London for a Britain’s Got Talent audition next month.

Logan, the eldest of three children, recently wowed local audiences in the Island’s Got Talent contest, and was invited to audition nationally – a dream opportunity for the young singer, who plans to perform a song from The Lion King on stage.

But with travel and overnight costs adding up, Logan’s family feared they wouldn’t be able to afford the trip. His grandmother, Gwen Prince, launched a fund-raiser with a heartfelt plea: “He is so excited. I don’t want to break his heart by not being able to get up to London.”

The family has never been to London before, and Gwen’s target was £350. Within 72 hours, generous Islanders had donated £1,040 – enough to cover travel, accommodation, and a few extras to make the trip even more special.

“We are so excited that Logan’s dream is now reality – and it’s all thanks to you,” Gwen wrote in an emotional update. “I’ve never been to London myself, so I’m nervous and excited to go with him. We can’t thank you all enough.”
