Around 60 Wight Aviation Museum (WAM) volunteers, family and friends, raised £200 from a quiz held at the Firkin Deck Restaurant & Bar, at Goddard’s Brewery, last Thursday (May 9).
The quiz was organised by WAM volunteer, David ‘Hobbit’ Edwards, and included a number of interesting and unusual rounds including musical rounds with the songs ‘performed’ by David himself on a tuba!
WAM chairman, Helen Blake, said: “It was a fun-filled evening and we’re hoping to run these Pub Quizzes on a monthly basis, with the assistance of Goddard’s, and the next one is planned for Thursday, June 6.”
