This week we thought we’d bring you a selection of classified advertisements from the pages of the Isle of Wight Observer published on 22nd January 1921. For 12 or less words advertisers were charged 6d, 13 to 16 words 8d, 17 to 20 words 10d and so on at the rate of 2d. for every four words. You could get three insertions for the price of two.
