In Counties One, Sandown & Shanklin Hurricanes continued their disappointing run. They lost 41-10 away at Basingstoke, despite the Islanders taking an early lead after winning a line-out in the Basingstoke 22 [twenty-two] and dot down in the corner, trailing 22-5 at the break. Sandown’s second-half score was made by Gary Warvill.
Division Two Fordingbridge and Division Three Andover were awarded home wins over bottom sides, Isle of Wight and Ventnor, respectively.
With the Six Nations starting this weekend, the Hurricanes travel to Trojans, IW welcome Havant, and Ventnor welcome Overton.
In Premiership South, 2nd-placed Hurries II XV travel to Fareham Heathens and Ventnor II XV visit New Milton.
