This summer, Sausage & Cider Festival and Summer in Nashville are making family days out more affordable than ever, by introducing free children’s tickets across both events.
Inspired by the UK Government’s Great British Summer savings scheme, which runs from June 25 to September 1 and temporarily reduces VAT on family attractions, organisers have gone one step further by making every child’s ticket completely free. The company will absorb the additional cost, helping families enjoy a memorable day out without the financial pressure.
The offer includes a brand-new Family Ticket, priced at just £50, the lowest family ticket price ever offered by the festivals. Every adult ticket now includes a free child’s ticket, while additional children’s tickets can also be downloaded free of charge. Families who have already purchased children’s tickets will receive a refund after the event as a goodwill gesture.
The celebrations head to Robin Hill on the Isle of Wight, on July 4-5, for a packed weekend of entertainment.
Saturday sees The Sausage & Cider Festival take over with live music, great food and drink, plus a dedicated children’s tent, featuring bubble shows, character meet-and-greets, science workshops, and the popular Mini Ravers party.
On Sunday, Summer in Nashville brings an authentic country music experience, complete with live performances, line dancing, street food, and family-friendly entertainment, creating an unforgettable weekend for visitors of all ages.
