These two beautiful cocker spaniels, Luna and Star, are patiently waiting for a forever home. These gentle, 10-year-old sisters have been in foster care since March, marking the longest stay any dogs have ever had with Friends of the Animals. Despite their loving nature and endearing personalities, they have yet to find a permanent home.
Luna and Star arrived with the Isle of Wight charity earlier this year and have since received full vaccinations and all necessary dental treatment. Their foster parents describe them as gentle souls with an abundance of love to share.
A spokeswoman for the charity said: “We have advertised this lovely pair of dogs many times, but no suitable home has been found. It’s hard to find homes for pairs, but sometimes we just cannot separate them if they are so bonded that, to do so, would, we believe, be cruel.”
The pair have been through a lot together and share a touching bond. Over the years, they have become inseparable, giving comfort and companionship to each other, which is why the charity is determined to find a home where they can stay together.
Friends of the Animals are hopeful that there is an Islander out there with room in their heart and home for these two lovely sisters. Luna and Star would thrive in a peaceful environment where they can continue to enjoy each other’s company and share their love with their new family.
If you have the space and love to offer these beautiful girls a home, Luna and Star could be the perfect companions for you. They are ideal for someone looking for affectionate and gentle pets who still have plenty of love and loyalty to give.
