Young riders from Priory School are celebrating strong performance in the Island’s inter-schools show-jumping competition, held on July 3.
The Priory team’s riders, Bella Myles, Bella White, Connie Stockley and Chloe Tapp, delivered a series of solid rounds to claim third place
in the team competition. Bella’s double clear round, and a fast time in the speed section, earned her third place individually.
There was also success for Year 8 pupil, Ella Brown, who placed fourth overall. Ella will now represent the school at the upcoming British Show-Jumping National Championships, where she will compete against some of the country’s top young riders.
A school spokesman said: “Ella’s dedication and determination have brought her to this level, and we’re incredibly proud of all her achievements. We wish her every success at the championships.”
