West Wight Road Runners welcomed more than 70 runners from across the Island, to their annual ‘Let’s All Run Together’ event on Wednesday evening.
Now in its 12th year, the event offered participants a choice of two routes – a challenging 5½ mile (8.6km) course, took in the spectacular scenery of Tennyson Down, while a gentler 5km (3 mile) route headed to Freshwater Bay, before passing through Afton Marsh.
Runners were invited to bring donations for the Isle of Wight Foodbank, with more than 200 items collected and delivered to the West Wight collection point after the event.
The evening brought together runners of all ages, in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
