Sandown & Shanklin Independent Lifeboat was called out on Monday following reports of a broken-down jet ski, with two people on board, near the red cliffs at Yaverland beach.
The crew launched in clear conditions at around 11.40am, with a slight sea and a light south-westerly breeze, and made its way to the scene.
Once on scene, the crew checked that both casualties were safe and well before establishing a secure tow between the lifeboat and the jet ski. The vessel, with both casualties on board, was then towed back to Yaverland slipway.
