Newport Golf Club’s Elaine White included a ‘Where’s Wally’ theme, named after the popular cartoon character, for her ladies captain’s day. Thirty-six members took part, mostly wearing red striped tee-shirts to help raise more than £200 for pancreatic cancer.
Elaine said: “We had a lovely day which started with a breakfast of croissants and fruit followed by a nine-hole Texas scramble. Afterwards we came back to the clubhouse for lunch. There was a raffle and a lot of laughter!”
