More than 3,000 visitors attend Spring Art and Garden Fair at Northwood House

The Isle of Wight Spring Art & Garden Fair once again proved to be a standout Easter highlight as visitors flocked to Northwood House in Cowes over the first two days of the Easter break. Despite some brisk and unpredictable weather on both mornings, more than 3,000 people enjoyed the Island’s first major outdoor event of the season, set within the elegant grounds of Northwood House and Park.

Northwood House Charitable Trust Chief Operating Officer Darren Cool, said, “The Isle of Wight Spring Art & Garden Fair continues to be a popular local event. It is a key fundraising event for the charity and over 30 volunteers contributed their time to make it successful alongside our employed event team. With an early Easter falling in March next year, we’ve decided to move the event to April 17 & 18 2027 in hope of warmer spring weather which is also better for all the plant nurseries that attend.

“A huge thank you must go out to all our fantastic exhibitors who attended as well as all of those who visited to make it such a success. And, of course, we’re ever so grateful to Red Funnel Ferries for sponsoring the Fair again. The addition of the fantastic Roots & Shoots Plants Talk Tent was only possible thanks to them”.

Visitors enjoyed a vibrant mix of plant nurseries, artisan makers, craft marquees, and the popular Art Showcase, alongside live music, children’s activities, falconry and dog agility displays. The Red Funnel ‘Roots & Shoots’ Talk Tent, hosted by Michael Perry, drew enthusiastic crowds for expert gardening insights.
