The Island Savoyards are back at Shanklin Theatre from October 24 to 27 with Cole Porter’s ’Anything Goes’. Set on board the SS American, this fast-paced, high-kicking musical introduces us to Hope, and her stuffy English fiancé, Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, Billy Crocker, who is in love with Hope, feisty nightclub singer, Reno Sweeney, and her ‘Angels’, Public Enemy No 13, Moonface Martin and a case of mistaken identity or two. With lots of well-known songs, a professional orchestra, and talented cast, find out whether there is any Hope for Billy, by booking iw.observer/anything-goes.

‘Sheila’s Island’ is the next play to grace the stage at The Apollo Theatre: the Apollo Players present this sparkling, sharp-witted comedy from October 25 to November 2 (not Sunday or Monday). It’s bonfire night, 2019, for Team C in Pennine Mineral Water Ltd’s annual Outward Bound team-building weekend. Sheila has been nominated team leader, and, using her cryptic crossword solving skills, has unwittingly stranded her team on an island in the Lake District. Tickets from iw.observer/apollo-theatre.

Theatretrain is thrilled to announce the arrival of the iconic musical “Chicago – Teen Edition” to Medina Theatre from October 28 to 30.
