By Isle of Wight ObserverA two vehicle crash in Brading has temporarily closed a road.
The crash happened at around 1.05pm on Friday (October 26) in Morton Road and the road is currently blocked by fire engines.
Southern Vectis are diverting their Route 2 and 3 buses away from Morton Road and other traffic is being turned around too.
An ambulance is also on the scene and a witness says the fire service are using cutting tools.
A witness at the scene said: “It just happened, Morton Road, Brading. What’s understood to be two vehicles, maybe one taxi. No police on scene yet but two fire engines, they are cutting out and an ambulance on scene. Traffic being turned around.”
Route 2 & 3
Buses are currently not serving Avenue Road and Morton Common due to fire engines blocking the road. Buses are currently diverting via Marshcombe shute and Yarbridge. <S.J> #travelalert— Southern Vectis (@SouthernVectis) October 26, 2018
