Calbourne Car Boot Sale raise thousands for Island charities

Calbourne’s car boot and antiques fair have helped raise over £2,600 for two Island charities. 

The St Mary’s Hospital chemotherapy suite and the Isle of Wight Saturday Club for Deaf Children received a total of £1,320.80 each.

The car boot and antiques fair has raised more than £20,000 for Island charities over the last eight years.

Other charities that have benefitted in the past include the Medina Marching Band Hospice the Martin Poynter Trust, and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance.
