Shanklin’s Seasons Art members celebrated their spring course with an exhibition of acrylics, oil pastels and water colours, including African violets, birds, and animal portraiture.
With more than 100 pieces on display, the exhibition attracted interest from a cross-section of the community.
One visitor said: “The exhibition’s monochromatic paintings, with meticulously layered pigments of the same shade at different stages, culminates in a singularly hued yet intricately textured masterpiece.”
The artists plan a further exhibition in the summer.
