Fire crews called to St Mary’s Hospital
1 min readFire crews and an aerial appliance have been called to St Mary’s Hospital on Thursday morning (November 1).
Three pumps are in attendance, from Ryde, East Cowes and Newport.
Fire crews are investigating the smell of burning from the CT room and an investigation is underway.
A spokesman for the IW Fire and Rescue Service said: “It doesn’t seem like it’s going to be a raging inferno, everything should be okay.”

Fire crews left the hospital after they could not locate a fire.
