Enjoy a Ticket to Ryde this Easter weekend

By IW Observer.co.uk Apr 15, 2022

Organised by Jack Up Events, with the support of Ryde Town Council, Ticket to Ryde is a well-established event now in its eighth year. Owing to very popular demand, it will be returning on each of the Bank Holiday weekends throughout spring and summer 2022, in addition to its usual slot at the end of August.

Situated along the seafront at Eastern Gardens, just a stone’s throw from Ryde’s golden sand beaches, this free-to-attend community event provides a rich mix of bank holiday entertainment for both local people and Island visitors.

Feel-good live music will be provided by Real Dead Ringer – The Meat Loaf Show, The Resisters, High School Never Ends, Now Only, Bethan John and more, plus an opportunity for upcoming new local talent to take to the stage.

There will be a real ale bar, courtesy of Island Ales, hot food freshly cooked by Island caterers, including mouth-watering nachos and burgers, all made using locally-sourced ingredients, and Island roasted coffee, tea and delicious home-baked treats.

You can pose for a hand-drawn caricature, and a range of children’s activities will keep the little ones happy whilst the adults relax and enjoy the music.

With a lovely atmosphere and laid-back family-friendly vibe, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a lazy bank holiday weekend!

It is on tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday from 10am to 8pm. Admission is free.
