The Yarmouth RNLI crew were recently called out to an important shout – the marriage of their engineer, Richard Pimm, to lifeboat press officer, Hebe Gregory.

The couple tied the knot at Northwood House, Cowes, and then paid a visit to the Cowes RNLI Station, where they were greeted by their colleagues who had travelled round to be part of the celebrations.
They have been together since 2013, after first meeting on the school bus years before, then got engaged in 2014.
Richard has followed in his grandfather’s and father’s footsteps with the Yarmouth RNLI, joining as a volunteer aged 17 and working full-time for 10 years. He was even christened on one of Yarmouth’s previous lifeboats.
Hebe has worked full-time for the RNLI since May 2024, and is currently training to be one of Yarmouth’s launch authorities.
Tom Carlstedt-Duke, lifeboat operations manager of Yarmouth RNLI station, said: “Congratulations to Rich and Hebe. Rich is the full-time senior station technician and afloat mechanic for our Severn ALB, and is a third-generation crew member with his grandfather, father and brother all serving on the Yarmouth ALB.
“Hebe is our press officer and also works full time in the RNLI’s regional business support team.
“All of Yarmouth’s One Crew wish Rich and Hebe a long and happy life together.”
