Vintage buses and coaches will be seen out and about in Ryde this weekend, taking part in the Rydabus event. Organised by the IW Bus & Coach Museum, it has been extremely popular in previous years. Once again, buses will also serve the IW Donkey Sanctuary, in Wroxall, where visitors can park free of charge and receive a friendly welcome.
The preserved buses will operate special free services, linking the Park & Ride site with the Bus Museum in Ryde and other attractions. Services 1A and 1B serve Wootton Station of the IW Steam Railway. A commemorative programme is available, containing full timetables and other helpful information. Purchase of a timetable helps to cover the cost of putting on the event and supports the museum.
Doors open at 10am on both days. Further information can be found at rydabus.co.uk
