Cowes RNLI escorted four rowers, who completed a world-record 43-day round-Britain charity challenge, into the harbour on Tuesday.
The Ready Salt Row team, in a specially designed boat named Emma, hope to raise £10,000 for the RNLI and are the first mixed team to row the 2,000 miles unassisted non-stop around mainland Britain.
The boat set out from Trinity Landing with a six-strong international crew, but two had to leave the challenge.
Among the international team was superyacht captain, Andy Burns, formerly from Cowes.
The rowing-boat was loaned for the event by Tom and Charlie Salt, and sponsorship came from Aquanobel, a Swedish water company.
