The Isle of Wight Youth Trust opened its doors last Thursday (April 10), for a special Open Day designed to connect with various members of the Island community, and showcased its vital work supporting children and young people.
The day began with a welcoming morning session, where parents and children were invited to explore the facilities and learn more about the support available.
In the afternoon, the focus shifted to engagement with local stakeholders and the business community. Representatives were invited for a tour of the Youth Trust premises and attended an informative presentation.
Jo Dare, CEO, said: ”We were so pleased to be able to showcase how the Youth Trust is developing its vital work to support the mental health and wellbeing of young Islanders up to the age of 25.
“If anyone is interested in our work and may be able to support what we do, then please contact Abi on fundraising@iowyouthtrust.co.uk.”
