A very special evening, where live music, history, and atmosphere come together in the unique setting of the museum, will take place on October 9.
The enchanting programme will feature works by Handel, Mozart, and Lennon-McCartney, alongside timeless favourites, including You Raise Me Up and Hallelujah. Whether a lifelong music lover or simply looking for a memorable evening out, this intimate concert promises something for everyone.
The evening will feature Mike Christie, founder of the Wight Proms, and known for his appearances with The X Factor and G4. Mike will be joined by Chris Hirst on the mandora, bringing beautiful live music to this historic setting.
The museum and café will open at 6pm, with drinks available from the bar, before the intimate live concert takes place from 7pm to 7.45pm.
Visitors can arrive early and take the opportunity to explore the museum, and discover its unique collections before the concert begins, before settling in for an unforgettable evening of music surrounded by history.
