Little Acres highlights children’s road safety

Little Acres Childcare Centre celebrated National Beep Beep Day on Wednesday; a day specifically designed to highlight the importance of road safety.

Teaching children the importance of stop, look and listen and the message of Always Being Careful is very important for young children.

This week, Little Acres, based at Nine Acres Primary School in Newport, provided a range of activities for the children to engage in to understand road safety through singing, road safety role play in the garden, and handprint traffic light pictures.

On Wednesday morning they welcomed local entertainer David Randini, who shared his Road Safety Magic Show. He said: “Little Acres is a pleasure to entertain at, a place with happy children and wonderful staff. This is my second Road Safety Magic show for them to celebrate Beep Beep Day, and the children were engaged throughout.”
