The Isle of Wight Council is holding a drop-in session to help ensure people don’t miss out on government support for their energy bills. If you live in a care home or park home, then you may be eligible for the Energy Bills Support Scheme Alternative Funding.
The Alternative Fuels Payment is available for homes that use LPG, oil or solid fuel such as logs, waste wood or pellets. Both schemes close on May 31. You can call into Pan Together at Downside Community Centre from 9am to 3pm on Wednesday (May 24) to get information, help and support on these grants.
