Newport IW & District rifle club’s first air rifle competition of the year was held at the club’s home range in Godshill.
There was a very good turnout for this most popular discipline called the Polo Competition. This is quite literally shooting Polo mints from 20 yards from a specially made target frame. The competition is a very challenging test and is always held in good spirits.
First place went to Martin Allenden, second was Alan Foxworthy and third Lin Massey.
