A business, based at Haylands Farm, in Ryde, has been set up to harness the power of nature to connect families with the natural world around them.
Forever Wild at Heart is run by Lizzie Boynton, an Islander passionate about bringing families closer to nature. The venture offers a variety of experiences, from Forest School sessions for young children to Wild Mama Retreats for mums and babies.
Lizzie said: “As an Islander, I’ve always felt a strong connection to the natural beauty that surrounds us.
“With Haylands Farm as our base, I’m excited to invite fellow Islanders to join us in exploring, learning, and simply enjoying the magic of our environment.
“Grown-ups are welcome as well as younger Islanders. Our well-being sessions include mindfulness meditation, nature crafts, and camp-fire conversations, providing a chance to take a breather from the daily grind and reconnect with nature.”
The company also works with Walk With Me IW to offer walking therapy sessions in nature. Ian, a qualified counsellor, helps people find peace and healing while taking a walk outdoors.
