In a display of community spirit, students from Ryde Academy have traded their school uniforms in a special mufti day, all in the name of giving back. The students donated around 1,000 Easter eggs, which were delivered on Friday afternoon to those most in need within the local community.

Representatives from Ryde Town Council joined forces with the students to distribute the Easter treats. The donations were carefully allocated to a range of vital local services, including the Ryde Food Pantry, Phoenix Project, Aspire, and numerous other organisations.

The initiative, driven by the students’ desire to make a positive impact during the Easter season, saw an overwhelming response.

“We are incredibly proud of our students for their generosity and their willingness to support those in need,” said head of school, Will Doyle. “This mufti day was a fantastic opportunity for them to come together and make a real difference to the lives of others, particularly during this special time of year.”

Ryde Town Council representatives echoed these sentiments, expressing their gratitude for the students’ efforts.
