IW Indoor bowls hosted, and retained, the Tom Blake trophy, with 48 bowlers taking part in a sportingly competitive competition.
Played over six rinks, the IW Indoor side won by 5 rinks to 1, with Darren Griffith having an inspired match for the indoor side, and Brian Taplin captaining the visiting outdoor side.
IW Indoor Bowls’, Peter Swinfield, said: “Thanks to all for taking part in a fun and friendly fixture, and I know our visitors are looking forward to next season’s contest, which will be on their preferred outdoor surface.”
