On Saturday, May 28, the Isle of Wight Museum of Glass welcomes internationally renowned master glassmaker, Richard Golding, who will be visiting the Island to give an audio-visual presentation and glassmaking demonstration in collaboration with Timothy Harris, of Isle of Wight Studio Glass.

Richard is one of the leading exponents of surface decorated studio glass, particularly iridescent glass, whose work is avidly collected worldwide. After the Studio demonstration, guests will be treated to Richard’s presentation in the museum’s Art Deco gallery, followed by a private viewing of selected artworks, a guided tour by the director, and the opportunity to engage directly with the experts.

Tickets are £15 and are on sale in the museum office, or on-line at isleofwightglassmuseum.org.uk/events.

Coffee and pastries will be served from 10.30am, and the event itself will start at 11am.

For ticket holders who can’t attend in person the event will be live streamed via Zoom.

Isle of Wight Museum of Glass is at Arreton Barns, Main Road, Arreton, PO30 3AA.
