More than 170 pieces of artwork and photography, created by young Islanders, will feature in the 2025-2030 Isle of Wight National Landscape management plan. For the first time, this crucial policy document, which guides the conservation and enhancement of half of the Island’s designated landscape, will showcase the perspectives of Island youngsters.
The creative submissions are the result of partnerships with organisations including Brave Island, Medina College, Young Farmers’ Club, Dimbola Museum, and local artists.
An exhibition celebrating the project is on display at Newport Minster until next Friday (March 28). It’s open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10am-1pm, and Tuesday from 10am-4pm.
