Newport and Carisbrooke Parish Council are urging residents and businesses affected by the works at St Mary’s Roundabout to attend an upcoming public meeting to be held tomorrow (Thursday 17th October).
The meeting will be held at Medina Theatre in Newport at 7pm and is being hosted by Isle of Wight Council.
A spokesperson for the council said: ‘We urge our residents to attend the public meeting being held by the IOW Council and Island roads at Medina Theatre this Thursday. This meeting is being held specifically to discuss the St Mary’s junction improvements. This is a chance for our residents to be fully briefed on the whole scheme and the next phases of the works, but is also the first opportunity they have to ask the burning questions we know that many residents have.’
Tickets are free but must be booked via the Medina Theatre either by telephoning 823884 or using this link: https://www.iow.gov.uk/TheatreBookings/Ticket/Diary/LME1
