McDonalds Newport closes after drinks machine leak

McDonalds in Newport has closed. 

The fast-food chain has closed due to technical issues on Thursday (August 23) at around 1pm.

A sign on the door reads: “Unfortunately, we have had to close until further notice.”

A McDonalds employee told IW Observer the drinks machines have suffered a leak and the store has been forced to close until they fix the machines.

Employees inside the store were seen cleaning the restaurant.

McDonalds have been contacted for comment.
