There were 38 players getting involved when Ryde Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club hosted a level Play Doubles event, with 16 entering the two competitions available on the day.
The morning low-handicap competition was won by Stuart and Sue Peters, and the high-
handicap competition by Tricia Cotton and Patrick Mill. Successful pairs from the morning were mixed together in the afternoon events, which saw Sue Peters and Tricia Cotton beat Stuart Peters and Susan Philips in the final of the cup.
The plate was won by Nick England and Janet Frohnsdorff, who narrowly beat Jim O’Keefe and Steve de Boise.
