I am grateful to my neighbours in the ward of Ryde North West who put their confidence in me to represent our area at County Hall. I assure you I will do my very best for you all.
I have been speaking with the people behind the redevelopment of Ryde Arena, and along with other Ryde councillors will be supporting their application for planning. Unsightly waste blighting our high street has now been removed, broken shop windows are being fixed, and I have held a meeting on George Street to discuss plans to install a bin tidy that we hope will improve look of the area.
There are also plans for all Ryde councillors to create a non-political group where we meet on a regular basis to discuss improvements in the town and we plan to update you on this soon.
Thanks so much for all the offers of support. There is still much to do, and I encourage all the residents to get in touch with any issues you feel need addressing.
