Chemical smell at care home prompts fire crew response
1 min readA chemical smell in a Ryde care home has prompted a response from emergency services.
One crew from Ryde has attended the East Hill Home For Deaf and are in communication with a hazmat officer from the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.
No one has been hurt at the incident.
Ryde firefighters took to Twitter to report no obvious signs of a leak had been found.
Following a full inspection of the property and investigations with our Gas monitor, no obvious cause has been found, we are now on communication with our #Hazmat officer from @Hants_fire for further advice..
