The Needles ‘legends’, Mike and Catherine Kullander, retired after a combined 86-years’ service at the Island’s most famous attraction on Tuesday.
A Facebook post said: “Today at The Needles is a sad day for us because the legends that really are Mr and Mrs The Needles, Mike and Catherine Kullander, are retiring.
“After a fantastic 46-years’ service for Mike, the deputy manager, and Catherine, who is the backbone of retail, and who has done 40-years’ service here.
“This amazing couple have contributed so much, and helped tremendously to make the Needles what it is today.
“These two have seen it all. Mike and Catherine will be so missed, and everyone at The Needles wish you all the best for the future and, lastly, thank you.”
