Vectis 40s Vintage has presented £1,000 raised from their events and activities over the past year to two vital Island charities.
A £500 cheque was handed to the Isle of Wight Foodbank this week to support families in need, while, as previously reported, an additional £500 will benefit the IW Prostate Cancer Support Group.
Vectis 40s Vintage is a group of passionate 1940s enthusiasts. They operate as a volunteer-led community group, attending events and celebrating all things vintage. “We love anything to do with the 1940s, and if you’re organising an event, we’d be delighted to get involved,” said a representative.
The group invites new members to get involved, with the first step to join their Facebook page, Vectis 40s Vintage Members, to learn more about their work and upcoming events.
