Christian singer/song-writer, Philippa Hanna, entertained a packed audience at Sandown’s Christ Church.
She was accompanied by husband and percussionist, Joel, as Philippa recounted touring with artists such as Lionel Richie, Leona Lewis, Wet Wet Wet, and Little Mix.
In 2004, Philippa found what she describes as her ‘life-changing faith’ and set about sharing her journey in both literary and music form. She became an internationally published author of two books. She also performed more than 1,500 live shows and released five studio albums.
Philippa has appeared on BBC Radio 2 Country Show, with Bob Harris, as well as Songs of Praise, playing an acoustic set as part of her Stained Glass Stories Tour.
Vicar of Christ Church, Rev Mark Williams, said: “It was a really inspiring family evening, with Philippa and her husband entertaining the audience with messages of fun and faith. We plan to have similar events in the future.”
