One week left to apply for Red Funnel’s Charity of the Year

With only a week or so remaining, Red Funnel is urging local community and environmental charities to apply to be the company’s 2019 Charity of the Year.

The Isle of Wight ferry specialist supports over 30 charities, but each year it focusses its fund-raising initiatives on one charity which is ultimately chosen in a public vote.

Red Funnel’s HR director, Debbie Reed said: “2019 marks the fifth year of the scheme and in that time, we have raised over £200,000 and worked with some superb charities including UKSA, Ability Dogs 4 Young People, Hampshire & the Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and this year’s charity, IW Donkey Sanctuary.”
