Half a dozen dance awards for amazing Annabelle

Amazing Annabelle Acutt, 10, who trains with the Roisin Mullins Dance Academy has been duly rewarded for her hard work already this year with half a dozen awards.

The Brading dancing queen, took home four National awards from the Kildare Irish Dance Feis competition. The Celtic contest held in Coventry on Saturday 25th January, and hosted by An Coimisiun, attracted thousands of Irish dancers from all over the UK but it was Island girl Annabelle who took the 2nd place, podium hitting cup.

Annabelle also recently received two further awards, titled Dancing Queen and Dance Spirit, to the delight of 28 of her Brading Dance friends, during a glittering show and ceremony, at Brading Town Hall.

Coach Roisin said of the youngster’s success, ‘Annabelle is a truly dedicated dancer, training with us for 7 hours every week, as well as practicing at home. She deserves every second of her success, what a wonderful start to the new year. We couldn’t be prouder of her. ‘
