Firefighters called to Arreton Manor false alarm

Firefighters were called to Arreton Manor on Wednesday morning (October 31) but there was no real danger.

Upon arrival shortly after 10am it was discovered that smoke was emanating from the fuse board.

A spokesman for Newport Fire Station said: “Thankfully there was no real fire and it was just smoke from the fuse board.

“Two crews from Newport attended.”
