The Freshwater community came together in an extraordinary display of solidarity and support to raise £2,000, towards the new village skatepark, at the Memorial Hall last Friday.
The evening featured the adventure film ’Savage Waters’ with musical entertainment from Martha Eggleton and friends, and the renowned rock band, Hashtag. A raffle and on-line auction, with prizes donated by local businesses, showcased the community spirit and support for the skatepark project.
Freshwater Parish Council thanked all attendees, participants, and the business sponsors.
