Cowes lost 3-0 at home to Andover New Street in the Premier Division.
East Cowes Vics won 2-1 away at Verwood, with a first-half strike from Jacob Reynolds, with the second-half winner put home by Elliot Wheeler.
Newport lost 2-0 at home to Fawley.
Island League & Cups
In the Challenge Cup, vibrant Ventnor secured a 10-2 home win over Cowes Sports Reserves. Four goals from Emerson Tattersall, 2 apiece for Freddie Knowles and Liam Harper, with 1 each for Charlie Urry and Neo Lamb ensured Ventnor, with stand-in keeper, Rio Barratt, are in the next round. Harry Mulholland was yellow-carded.
In Division One, Shanklin won 4-2 away at Bembridge, with 2 goals from former ‘Bridge striker, Josh Field, and 1 apiece from Fin Lloyd and Hayden Little, with Michael Brown (2) on target for the Steyne Park side. The result maintained Shanklin’s 100 per cent start to the season, with Dan Drudge and Laurence Chick picking up bookings.
West Wight won 2-0 at home to Northwood, with goals from Charlie McFarlane before the break and George Saunders in the second half. Osborne Coburg won 5-1 at home to Vectis, with goals from Ad Cantelo, yellow-carded Mark Taylor, Carl Phillipson and Harry Green (2), with Mark Goodwin netting the consolation goal for Vectis.
In Division Two, early leaders, High Park, won 3-0 away at Sandown & Lake, with goals from Kyle Kilroy and John Robjant, and Sandown striker, Michael Smart, who had to don the keeper’s gloves after a first-half injury to the regular keeper.
Oakfield won the derby against Ryde Saints 3-0, with goals from Sid Roberts (2) and Jos Townsend.
Combination One and Two
In Combination One, Whitecroft & Barton Res won 5-0 away at Bembridge Res, with an early goal from Sam Cant, 2 from Harri Taylor, and 1 apiece from Luke Hackshaw and Lousi Biles.
Binstead COB Res drew 1-1 at home to Sandown & Lake Res, with Ethan Dicker getting their goal.
Nick Gregory, Alex Boirand and Will Johnson goals saw Brading Res win 3-1 at home to Ventnor Res, who netted through Owen Broughton.
West Wight Res won 8-0 away at Northwood Res, with 2 goals apiece for Jack Butler and Jason Moore, and 1 each for Jordan Flynn, Jude Millar, Sam Oatley and sub, George Bradshaw.
Two goals from Josh Richardson and another from Shane Silk saw East Cowes Sports Res win 3-2 away at Shanklin Res, with consolation goals from Ryan Hill and Tony Lucas.

Two goals each for Charlie Watterson and Stuart Chiverton, an own goal, with 1 apiece for Jamie Phillips and Aaron Youngson, saw Oakfield Res win 7-0 away at High Park Res.
Ventnor A’s Robert Gee, Charlie Morris, Dale Nash, Jack Groundsell, Harley Kennett and player-of-the-match, George Creighton’s goals secured a 6-3 home win over Newchurch, who supplied the ref, and replied through Keith Rust and Nick Weedon (2).
Women’s Football
In Division Two, newly-promoted Wight Eagles won 5-0 at home to Pace FC, with goals from Ellena Boakes, Georgia Dye, Abi Joyce and Jess Green in the first half, and player-of-the-match, Kira Smith, after the break.
Shanklin Ladies welcome Basingstoke Town in Division One, with the Eagles away at Winchester City Flyers on Sunday.
