The Island’s Fell Running 30th anniversary weekend saw 61 male and 26 female competitors, with Matt Marshall topping the three races. Tyler Rimmer was the highest placed Island male, and Elaine Parry the female, from organiser, Ryde Harriers.
The Island men’s team (James Darling, Graham Gardner and Ken Beak) came second in the team event to Serpentine RC, with Victoria Park Harriers winning the women’s title.
Routes included the 3.8km St Boniface run, followed by the 12km Ventnor Horseshoe, finishing with the 21km rain-affected Wroxall Round (2.4, 7.5 & 13 miles).
