With the outdoor summer season coming to a close, Ryde Marina A won 8-2 (57-45) away at Totland A, and Shanklin A won 9-1 (72-42) away at Cowes Medina A in Division One. In Division Two, Sandown B beat Shanklin C 8-2 (53-45) and Shanklin E won 10-0 (60-38.5) away at Newport B. Sandown B won 6-4 (69-64) at home to Totland B in Division Three.

Cowes Medina A are crowned Champions of Division One, with Cowes Medina B relegated. Plessey B top Division Two, with Camp Hill A and Sandown C relegated. Sandown E top Division Three and are promoted.

In the Ladies’ League, Ryde Marina D top Division One, Ryde Marina D are the victors in Division Two, and Sandown A finish top in Division Three.

Sandown’s season ends

Sandown hosted their end of season competition, with president and scorer, Jeff Edkins, presenting the Men’s Championship trophy to Paul Attrill, with runner-up Andy Hennings.
