There’s still time to Walk the Wight

1 min read

Walk the Wight is finally happening on Sunday (May 8) and you can still walk by registering on the day at any of the start points, in return for a donation to Mountbatten.

Lush, green countryside, historic villages, famous landmarks, majestic chalk cliffs, and coastal views with shimmering blue seas – Walk the Wight has all this and more. With a choice of five walks and distances (4, 8, 12.5, 14, and 26.5 miles), people of all ages and abilities can take part, making it a real community event.

Every year, people who take part in Walk the Wight raise a phenomenal amount of money, which enables Mountbatten to continue to develop our services for Islanders and their families when they need them most, wherever they are on the Island.

All the information you need to get you to the start line (event times, locations, buses, etc) can be found at Mountbatten.org.uk.
