Walk and Talk Buggy walks

1 min read

Three housing providers have organised guided buggy walks to encourage local families to get fresh air and gentle exercise over a conversational trip to the park.

Anybody is welcome to join the Friday walks, put on by Vectis Housing, Sovereign and Southern Housing Group. The first one is today, starting from Fort Street car park in Sandown. Next Friday (May 13) is from Puckpool Park in Ryde, May 20 is The Riverside Centre in Newport and May 27, will be from The Pavilion in East Cowes. All start at 10am and finish at noon.

Toby Eaglen, of Sovereign, said: “We’re keen to promote happy and healthy communities and what better way to do this than bring families together for a summer stroll in the park.”
