Blood on our hands
Dear Editor,
What a disgraceful farce in Parliament last week as MPs squabbled and equivocated over Gaza and a ceasefire.
The truth is Britain has blood on its hands. The hypocrisy couldn’t be clearer; our government has issued at least 27 Arms
Licences to Israel in the last 137 days. British-made bombs and weapons are killing civilians in Gaza. Let’s not pretend our government cares a jot about the thousands of innocent Palestinians, women and children being killed, blown to pieces, orphaned. The truth is, as usual, there’s way too much money to be made selling weapons to fuel the indiscriminate slaughter.
